Prior to the recoloring effort, eAgent 2.0 lacked compliance with 508 standards, exhibiting insufficient contrast on critical features, and its color scheme diverged from the cohesive look of our latest product offerings.

We were limited in this project to small changes that would have minimal impact to our current users. Along with updating the color scheme and adding a night mode - we made a few minor changes to the header.

RESULTS

The recoloring initiative for eAgent 2.0 yielded significant improvements in both brand unity and usability. By aligning the color scheme with our latest product offerings, we achieved a more cohesive visual identity. The updated design now complies with 508 standards, ensuring accessibility for all users. Despite the limitations on making only small changes, the project successfully enhanced the overall aesthetics of eAgent 2.0 without disrupting the day-to-day workflow of its numerous users, many of whom work in critical public safety roles. The subtle adjustments to the header further contribute to a more modern and user-friendly interface.
